Geo. Binney reports — Grain market improving during the week. Better demand fur all kinds of horse feed. Stocks — Southern flour, very small ; oats, 4s ; barley, 5« 6d ; maize, 6s ; flour, Adelaide, £l' 3; Oamaru, £12 ; Dunedin and Canterbury, £11 10s; bran and pollard, £7 10s; oatmeal, £23 ; pearl barley, £26 ; wheat, 4s ; peas and beans, none ; haras and bacon, Is 4d ; cheese, 9d ; butter, Is 3d ; lard, Bel ; kauri, plentiful. Buckland reports— Fat cattle, average supply, 22s to 26s per 1001 b ; fat sheep, 3^d ; store sheep, inferior quality, low values The Steam Packet Company has resolved to increase the capital to £150,000 by an issue of 10,000 shares at £10.
