Country Settlers will find this Hotel provided with good Stables, with hay and corn always on hand. THIS Hotel is situated on the south side of Taupo Lake, at the foot of the Ruapehu and the famous burning Mountain of Tongariro, and within a few yards of the celebrated Hot Springs and Geysers. The proprietor begs to inform Tourists and others that this large and commodious Hotel offers every comfort and convenience to travellers and invalids. A Boat is kept on the Lake for the convenience of yisitors. The steamer ' Victoria ' now makes weekly trips from Tapuaehararu, the terminus of the Napier and Tauranga coaches, 1 The country abounds with game, such as pheasants, ducks, etc. Only best brands Wines & Spirits kept.
