SIR— We have to request that you will convene a public meeting of the inhabitants of Wanganui, to be held in „he Royal Princess Theatre, on the evening of Wednesday next, the 25th inst, at B p.m. for the purpose of taking into consideration the best means oi having the 250 acres of land in this town, set apart bv his Excellency the Governor, fourteen years ago, as an endowment ior educational purposes, appropriated to the objects set forth in the Trust Beed.
