Spurious Imitations of Holloway’s Pills and Ointment. Fifty Pounds will be paid to any person giving information to Mb. John Hughes, Wholesale Druggist, Melbourne, that shall lead to the conviction of any person or persons vending spurious imitations of Holloway’s Pills and Ointment. A power of attorney has been sent to Mr. Hughes, bearing date 9th August, 1859. It appears that parties in Melbourne are either Manufacturing Holloway’s Pills and Ointment, or importing imitations of the same from the United States; such parties, when discovered will be dealt with according to law, in order to protect the public. The Genuine Ointment and Pills have engraved on the British Government Stamp the words, “ Holloway's Pills and Ointment, London ,” anel if the little Books of direction wrapped round the medicines be held up to the light, the same words will be discovered woven jin the water-mark of the paper.
