MADE BY AMERICAN TROOPS TO DEPENDANTS OF FALLEN NEW ZEALANDERS (R.N.Z.A.F. Official News Service.) ' SOUTH PACIFIC, June 5. The dependants of each of the five New Zealanders killed in action in the Treasury Islands have received 1127 dollars, described in a personal letter from Lieutenant-Colonel J. M. Reidy, commanding officer of a United States battalion, accompanying each gift, as the ‘only practical way they could show, how deeply they sympathised.”
