REGENT THEATRE

DOUBLE PROGRAMME There will be an excellent double feature programme shown tonight. “Gals Incorporated” is full of novel comedy situations, gay music and a screenful of notable artists. It is a sparkling picture with Leon Errol, Harriet Hilliard and Grace McDonald in the chief roles. “Sierra Sue” features the screen’s greatest Western star in his biggest picture, Gene Autry, who is assisted by Fay McKenzie with outstanding song hits, laughs and new thrills. Smiley Burnett also contributes his share in providing enjoyable entertainment. Patrons are reminded that every Thursday and Friday the Regent Theatre will screen Cinesound News and the New Zealand Government Review as well as that exciting serial, G Men v the Black Dragon. Coming at the weekend as a special attraction will be Deanna Durbin in “His Butler's Sister.” An added featurette is the “Pyjama Girl Case.”
