GOLF CLUB LADIES’ COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The draw for the first round for the Keltic Buttons to be played by the ladies at Greytown on Saturday is as follows: —Mrs Thompson v. Mrs Jury; Mrs Ingley v. Mrs Balfour; Mrs Maddison v. Miss B. Feast; Mrs Deighton v. Miss R. Collier; Miss E. Gregor v. Mrs Elbe; Mrs Gold v. Mrs McClymont; Miss M. Maddison v. Miss M. Collier; Mrs Maitland v. Miss Bouzaid; Miss Oxford v. Miss Wood; Miss B. Gregor v. Mrs Max Maddison; Miss Barge v. Miss Macfarlane. The following will play a six hidden holes competition over 9 holes commencing at No. 7:—Mrs Torlesse v. Miss Carter: Miss Reid v. Mrs Ward: Miss Toomath v. Miss Garrity; Mrs Bull v. Mrs Smart; Mrs Burns v. Miss Burch. Hockey Club Dance. The Greytown Ladies’ Hockey Club held a very succcsful dance in the Odd Fellows’ Hall. The Monte Carlo dance was won by M*iss Allen and partnei. The music was supplied by Mr S. Te Tau and extras were played by Private Drysdale and Snoury. A raffle for a box of home-made sweets was won by M. Fell. TOWN HALL DOUBLE FEATURE BILL. At the Town Hall tonight a double feature bill will be presented. “No Place For a Lady” is a drama providing plenty of thrills, with William Ga’rgan and Margaret Lindsay portraying the principal characters. “Little Tokyo, U.5.A.,” is an outstanding spydrama, starring Preston Foster and Brenda Joyce.
