QUADRUPLETS BORN

TO WIFE OF FLYING OFFICER (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 23. Mrs Moxham, mother of quadruplets, whose birth is reported, has five other children, aged from five to 16. Doctors were so certain that quadruplets would be born to Mrs Moxham that tiny cots, labelled Nos. 1,2, 3 and 4, were ready in the Southend Hospital, in a special nursery for premature children. After the birth the mother was seriously ill, but today her condition has improved. Flying officers' wives receive 2s a day for each child. Therefore, Mrs Moxham’s income jumps by 56s a week. Mrs Moxham is 38 years of age.
