HOME SERVICE

WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. MEETING TO BE HELD AT CARTEI&ON. Men and women who have had at least six months’ continuous service in any branch of the forces within New Zealand during the present and the Great War are invited to attend a meeting’ at St. Mary’s Hall, Carterton, at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31. At the meeting a sub-branch of the Wai-* rarapa Home Servicemen’s Association Wil be formed. Those who have been discharged or placed on indefinite leave without pay due to illness are eligible for membership, although they might not have completed six months’ service. The movement is Dominionwide and was sponsored by the N.Z..R.S.A. Members are assisted to rehabilitate themselves, and problems of concern to those on home service will be dealt with. Socials are held every month. A registered and protected badge is issued to members.
