HARRIER ACTIVITIES

KIATERE CLUB. TRAINING RUN ON SATURDAY. On Saturday, under ideal weather conditions, members of the Kiatere Harrier Club held a strenuous training run. The course, which embraced a good variety of country, covered a distance of 6 miles. A fast pace was set for the first mile, after which all settled down to a steady pace. The first runner home was A. W. McDonald, with K. Greaves second and N. Hill third. Points for good attendance certificates will start from next Saturday. A committee meeting will be held on Wednesday night, and a training run on Thursday night, starting from the vice-captain’s residence at 7 p.m,
