COLLAPSE IN COURT
ELDERLY MAN SENTENCED IN AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. An elderly man collapsed when he was sentenced in. the Supreme Court today, and had to be assisted away. He was Reuben Branwell Parker, aged 60, who was given four years’ reformative detention for three offences, which he had admitted, of indecently assaulting a girl aged eleven. Mr Justice Callan described it as a sad case. Medical evidence had shown that Parker’s sense of responsibility was impaired.
