STATE THEATRE
“THE BIG STREET.” What is billed as Damon Runyon's first real love story, ‘‘The Big Streht,” is the main feature on the programme at the State I'heatre this evening. This is a cross-section of American life and characters of many sorts are brought together in this mixture of comedy and drama. Stars in the production include Henry Fonda, Lucille Ball, Barton Mac Lane, and Eugene Pallettc, and there is also Ozzie Nelson and Orchestra. Victor McLaglen and Edmund Lowe arc seen in the associate picture ‘‘Call Out the Marines.”
