STILWELL’S BOMBERS
ACTIVE AGAINST SIAM AND INDO-CHINA. FIRES STARTED IN BANGKOK ARMS FACTORY. (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) CHUNGKING, February 8. Liberator bombers dropped three ton bombs on an ordnance plant in Bangkok, starting many fires, says General Stilwell’s communique. Mitchells carried out sweeps over Indo-China, destroying trains and railway bridges and strafing industrial buildings.
