MAORI CHILDREN DROWNED
TRAGEDY AT TAURANGA. BODIES FOUND IN SHALLOW WATER. (Rv Telegraph—Press Association.) TAURANGA, This Day. A Maori girl, Kaiarero Katehana, 9, and a Madri boy, Rupeke Tuonui, 7, were drowned in the Bowentown estuary of Tauranga Harbour yesterday afternoon. The children were missing and the bodies were found in shallow water. It is not known how the children met their fate.
