AWARDED TO NEW ZEALAND WOMAN GRADUATE. SEVERAL SENATE NOMINATIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Miss Elizabeth Huntingdon, of Victoria University College, has been awarded a British Council War Time Scholarship for 1943. She is expected to leave for England soon. The scholarship is awarded for women graduates from the Dominions. The Senate of the University of New Zealand this morning decided to forward the following nominations for 1944 scholarships:—Kathleen Alison (Auckland), Annie Kathleen Caughley (Victoria College). Oenone Marguerite Greig (Victoria College), and Helen Marion Sheila Thomson (Otago).
