No details have yet. been given, bid it is known that they were, escorted by American fighters and that a strong force of American, R.A.F'. and Allied fighters covered them on their way back. Allied aircraft delivered more blows on military objectives in * Northern France today. All the American bombers —Marauders —got back safely. R.A.F., Dominion and Allied fighters carried out offensive patrols in Northern France. Three enemy aircraft were destroyed. Six of ours are missing. All the British bombers which attacked targets last night also got back. Mosquito aircraft went for targets in Northern France and Western Germany and mines ■ were laid in enemy waters.
