FLYING LINERS

UNITED STATES ORDERS TWENTY. (By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON. January 5. The Navy Department has ordered 20 Mars flying boats for the naval air transport service. These flying-boat's have the cubic capacity of a 15-room house. The aeroplane, with its higher speed, will cut heavily into the higher-priced passenger, traffic and mail revenues on which the liners rely.
