“FIRST OF THE FEW.” One of the greatest pictures ever brought to the screen, “First of the Few,” will bo shown tonight. It is dedicated to the immorlal fame of Reginald J. Mitchell, creator of the Spitfire, and to the everlasting glory of the members of the Royal Air Force. It is the unforgettable story of a man who died that his .country might live. It was Winston Churchill who said: “Never in the realm, of human conflict has there been so much owed by so many to so few,” and this picture tells the story of those few. Included in the picture arc pilots and other personnel of the fighter command of the Royal Air Force. The chief role is taken by Leslie Howard, who recently lost his life in connection with war operations in the air. Also in the cast are David Niven, Roland Culver, Rosamond Johns, Anne Firth, and Derrick de Marney. As there is a keen demand for scats for this appealing human story, patrons should book early in order to avoid disappointment. The final session of “First of the Few” will be on Thursday night.
