INTERNMENT IN EIRE. SURVIVORS FROM BAY OF BISCAY. ■ (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, January 4. It is learned officially in London that the Government of Eire has decided to intern the 162 German Navy personnel who were landed in Eire after the Bay of Biscay action last week. The German Minister in Eire, Herr Hempel, is stated to have interviewed Mr de Valera yesterday in an endeavour to obtain the men’s freedom.
