DEATH OF MR. JOSEPH RANK GREAT PUBLIC BENEFACTOR. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) ' LONDON, November 15. The death is reported of Mr Joseph Rank, the millionaire miller, aged 89. When 14 he swept the floors in his father’s windmill at Hull. After his apprenticeship, he became a journeyman in Aberdeen, and started a business in 1875. He ranks as one of the greatest benefactors in Britian; His gifts to the Methodist church alone are estimated at more than £1,000,000.
