ELECTION RESULTS
MR. NORDMEYER NOW LEADING IN OAMARU. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The official count of civilian votes in a further number of the electorates has now been completed, but it is likely to be some days yet before the official counts of service votes for inclusion in the final official total will be available and it will be possible to arrive at an exact and final result in any electorate. Among the electorates for which the final civilian figures are now available are two of those in which the majorities originally £e.--turned were small, Oamaru and Otaki. In Oamaru, according to a Press Association message, the election night majority of six for the National candidate, M. T. R. Beatty, has, with the inclusion of service votes subject to recount, been changed to a majority of 105 for the Minister of Health, Mr. Nordmeyer, the sitting Labour member.
