MASTERTON SEAT

LABOUR CANDIDATE MEETS SUPPORTERS. ELECTION COMMITTEE FORMED. The Labour candidate for the Masterton seat, Mr J. Robertson, M.P., gave a review of the Government’s legl islation to a meeting of friends and supporters held last night, when an election committee was set up. Mr A. Cretney presided. All present promised to assist Mi’ Robertson’s candidature. It was stated that a committee room had been opened in a Queen Street shop and that more helpers were wanted to be in attendance at various hours.
