NORTH ISLAND ASSOCIATION. At the annual conference of the North Island Greyhound Racing Association held at Hastings during the weekend, Mr J. Bradbury, of Masterton, president of the Wairarapa Coursing Club was elected vice-president for the ensuing year. It was decided to allocate future live, hare classic meetings as follow: North Island Coursing Cup, North Island St. Leger, North Island Oaks, all to be held on the Wairarapa Club’s course; New Zealand Greyhound Championships to Hastings. Two remits from the Wairarapa Club were carried. One advocated the holding of section conferences at the time of the classic meetings. The other related to a rule concerning the running of a bye. 4 The next conference will be held at Napier. The delegates were hospitably entertained at a social gathering.
