GAMES AT LANSDOWNE. SOME GOOD EXHIBITIONS. Conditions at Lansdowne were perfect for hockey on Saturday, and three very keenly contested men’s games were witnessed. RESULTS AT A GLANCE. The game between Nos. 4 and 5 teams, although not spectacular, was a very evenly contested game. The match between Nos. 6 and 3 teams, produced some good hockey. It was a very I interesting game. Both teams arrived short lon the ground but were made up to full strength from No. 2 team, who won its game by default. The game was very evenly contested, more so than the scores would indicate.
