AXIS MOVE

AGAINST AMERICAN BANK IN FRANCE. UNITED STATES ACTION ANTICIPATED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.39 a.m.) RUGBY, July 7. A report that American banks in France have been invited to participate in a credit bank for the rehabilitatidn of European economy, and thus to finance the production of enemy war material, was mentioned by Mr Dingle Foot in the House of Commons. He said he had seen the report and had instituted inquiries. The matter was also receiving the attention of the United States Government, which no doubt would take steps to prevent institutions under its control assisting the Axis.
