No. 4 team and No. 5 team engaged in a fast and excellent game and it was only in the last ten minutes that No. 4 team were assured of a win. No. 1 team and No. 2 team displayed very good forward play at times in their match but the backs of both these teams were not on their usual game, the number of goals scored by each side indicating this. LADIES’ SECTION CARTERTON v KIA ORA. This was a rather one-sided game although Carterton did not play nearly, as good a game as on the previous Saturday. Kia Ora is rather a young team and would benefit considerably if they had some older and experienced players in their side.
