ENGINE DRIVER INJURED

CRUSHED BETWEEN TRUCKS. ACCIDENT AT MAURICEVILLE. Injuries to the ribs and chest were received by an engine driver, Gordon McKenzie, of Masterton, when he was crushed between two trucks at Mauriceville yesterday afternoon. The accident occurred at about 3.30 o’clock, during shunting operations. The injured man was conveyed to the Masterton Hospital by ambulance. He is a married man, residing at the Railway Settlement in Masterton. Mr McKenzie was reported this morning to be comfortable.
