SUNK OFF PACIFIC COAST. FIRST SINCE DECEMBER. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) MONTREAL, June 10. It is officially announced that a United States merchantman was torpedoed and sunk off the west coast. One seaman was lost through exposure; he was in the sea for 33 hours. This was the first torpedoing of an American vessel off the Pacific Coast since December.
