INTERHOUSE DANCE

AIR FORCE DANCE ORCHESTRA PRESENT. The dance held by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association in the Municipal Hall on Saturday night attracted a large attendance of the public. A feature of the dance was the appearance of the dance orchestra of the Band of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. During the supper interval Barnes’s Orchestra contributed the dance music. Mr J. Henderson was M.C. Extras were played by Mrs Chrisp. The winners of the competitions were: Lucky spot, Miss Ruth Lett and Private Stuart Long; Monte Carlo, Mrs Mudgway and Bandsman Purley. The dance was held in aid of the Patriotic Fund.
