GROWING MORE VEGETABLES (To the Editor.) Sir, —A meeting is being held tonight for the purpose of discussing the important question of growing more vegeables, as it is apparent that a shortage faces us next season. Plenty of vacant spaces are available for cultivation, and as the growing of more vegetables can be classed a war effort, it is to be hoped that a largely attended meeting will be the result.
