EKETAHUNA
ENJOYABLE PARTY (“Times-Age” Special.) A very pleasant time was spent at the residence of Mr and Mrs F. Schormann, Eketahuna, recently to mark the engagement of Miss Freda Schormann to Mr T. D. Olliver. The time was spent in playing cards after which supper was provided by Miss Schorman. The toast of the newly-engaged couple was proposed by Mr R. Farrow. Mr T. Olliver suitably replied. Mr P. S. Page proposed the toast of the Fighting Forces overseas. The winners at cards were: Ladies, Mrs B. Harvey; men, R. Farrow; consolation, Miss M. Tomlinson (ladies), and Mr S. Sutton (men).
