MAY COMMAND ALLIED FLEETS IN NORTH ATLANTIC. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, January 6. The naval correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that the appointment of Admiral Sir John Tovey (Commander-in-Chief, Royal Naval Home Fleet) as supreme commander-in-chief of all the Allied naval forces in the North Atlantic is expected shortly.
