ARRANGEMENTS FOR CONCERT. At a meeting of the Council of the Saint Andrew Society, final arrangements were made for the annual St. Andrew’s night concert, to be held at the Opera'House on Saturday, November 29, as St. Andrew's Day falls this year on the Sunday. It was reported that the concert director, Mr William C. Mann, had arranged an excellent programme. Among the singers will be Mrs Wilfred Andrews and Mr Ray Trewern, . both of Wellington. There will also be items by the Saint Andrew 'Ladies' - Choir, as well as recitations, dancing, and other attractions. A novelty in dancing will be the Ninesome Reel, described as a most attractive item. The charges for admission were fixed at 2s and Is, with no extra charge lor booking. Mr H. E. Pither has consented to take charge of the reservations. Juveniles (under 16) under the charge of adults will be admitted to any part of the house for Is. Tickets for the concert are to be placed on sale immediately.
