MASTERTON HOME GUARD

ROUTINE ORDER ISSUED. A routine order issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, officer commanding the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard states that N.C.O. classes will be held at the Municipal Hall tomorrow at 7 o’clock. Headquarters and A and C companies will parade at their drill halls on Thursday at 7 o’clock. Field exercises will also be held by the above companies on Sunday, November 23. .Transfers and promotions are announced as follows: Headquarters Company: G. T. Wagg to be* Sergeant Petrol Guards. Guardsman T. L. Wright to be Corporal Signal Platoon. D Company: Platoon Commander M. H. McKenzie, Kopuaranga Platoon, relinquishes appointment owing to ill health; Sgt. J. F. D. Hewitt to be Platoon Commander, Kopuaranga Platoon.
