The Prime Minister has received a letter from union secretaries requesting him to arrange a conference with Labour delegates with the object of trying to achieve closer unity in the war effort.
The letter assures the. Government that the Labour movement can' give vital help, providing its representatives get representation on the boards and organisations controlling the war effort.
