A plane in which General Huntziger and seven others were flying to France from Algiers crashed fifty miles from Nimes. All the occupants were burned to death.' The plane lost its way in thick log. General Huntziger was returning from a 10,000-mile tour of inspection in Ihe French possessions in North Africa and was due to report to Marshal Petain today. He was accompanied by M.
