INDOOR BASKETBALL
STATE KITCHENETTE TEAMS VISIT HUTT VALLEY. The State Kitchenette indoor basketball teams which visited the Hutt Valiev to play friendly games against the Y.M.C.A.. had a most enioyable time the games being keenly contested. Afterwards they were entertained al a dance held in the Heretaungs Y.M.C.A. rooms. The players were billeted during their stay and as the weather prevented other activities, an afternoon was spent in the Y.M.C.A games rooms. Mr Hayden expressed his aupreciation to the Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A, on behalf of the State teams and Mr Cato replied for the Hutt Valley teams. The results of the game r were as follow: —B grade ladies: Hub Valley Y.M.C.A. 19. State 13. Men’s: State 31. H.V.Y.M.C.A. 15. A grade ladies: State 28, H.V.Y.M.C.A. 19.
