WING-COMMANDER BADER REPORTED MISSING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) RUGBY, August 12. Wing-Commander D. R. Bader, the legless R.A.F. pilot, is reported missing. Wing-Commander Bader, who has the D.S.O. with bar and the D.F.C. with bar, lost both his legs in a flying accident while serving in the R.A.F. in 1931, but contrived to re-enter the service at the outbreak of the war and made many daring raids.
