“CUT AND DRIED”

ELECTION OF MEAT BOARD MEMBERS. BODY WRONGLY CONSTITUTED. “The election of members of the Meat Board is already cut and dried,” said Mr A. McDonald at a meeting of farmers in Masterton yesterday, when Mr W. A. lorns and himself were reappointed delegates to the electoral committee of the New Zealand Meat Board. “A member must die before a new man can be elected,” he said. ‘‘The board is wrongly constituted. An altogether new system of election is wanted.”

Mr J. L. Heckler: "The board is practically useless.”
