GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS At present the most important concentration camps in Germany are as follows: — Oranienburg, Buchenwald and Dachau in Germany proper. Linz in Austria, Schlossenburg and Mortenhausen in Bavaria. Oesterwegcn on the Dutch frontier, and Oswiecim in South-west Poland. According to reliable information, approximately one and a half million are now prisoners in these camps. Included in this number, besides representatives from all countries subf jected to the claimed “Nene Ordnung" of Germany, are at least 109.000 Poles. I During recent months the following Polish leaders were executed in these | camps: Mr St Starzynski. Mayor of .'Warsaw and leader of the civilian defence during the siege in 1939. Mr M. Rataj, former speaker of the Diet and Deputy-Loader of the Peasants' Party, and General Roja. former member of Polish Legions in 1914-18 and member of the Executive of the Peasant Party.
