QUOTATIONS IN WELLINGTON. Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington markets were quoted in Wellington yesterday as follow: — Quinces, 4s to 8s a j-case. Grapes, hothouse, Is to 2s 3d a lb. Passion fruit, 7s to 18s 6d a J-case. Tree tomatoes, 4s to 9s a J-case. Tomatoes: Hutt coloured. 2s 6d to 3s a J-case; Hutt ripe, 4s "to 7s a J-case; Hutt round, 4s to 9s a J-case. Cape gooseberries, 6s to 7s a J-case. Beans, Ils to 25s a case. Cucumbers, outside, 7s to 12s 6d a case. Green peas, choice, 30s to 45s 6d a sack. Pumpkins. 3s to 10s a sack. Potatoes, 8s to 13s a cwt. Onions, 5s to 10s a cental bag. Kumeras, 5s to 6s a sugar bag.
Sprouls, 16s to 17s a bushel case. Cabbage, 5s to 10s a sack. Cauliflowers, 9s to 19s 6d a sack. Lettuce, Is to 3s a case. Silver beet, Is 6d to 3s 6d a case. Spinach, 7s to 17s 6d a case. Marrows, Is Gel to 3s 6d a case. Swedes. 4s to 6s a case. Parsnips, 10s to 14s 3d a case. Beetroot, Is 6d to 4s 6d a case. Carrots, 5s to 8s 9d a case. Celery, 4s to 7s 6d a case.
