QUEENSLAND CLUB’S MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) BRISBANE, May 6. On the second day of the Queensland Turf Club’s autumn meeting yesterday the results included: — Brisbane Cup, of £3lOO, two miles: Lady Buzzard, P. J. O’Shea's b.m., by The Buzzard —Canning Queen, 4yrs., 7.4 (Percival), 1; Tragopan, 8.11 (Sinclair), 2; Abspear, 8.3 (Briscoe), 3. Seven started. Lady Buzzard gave nothing else a chance. After turning for home she quickly spreadeagled the field and won by eight lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 3.25. Sires’ Produce Stakes, of £lOOO, seven furlongs: Gartilla, J. Gould and F. J. Biggs’s br. c., by Madagascar— Pantillo, 2yrs„ 8.10 (Carmont), 1; Felt Yet, 8.10 (Briscoe), 2; Triad, 8.7 (McFarlane), 3. Nine started. Threequarters of a length; one length. Time. 1.26. Gartilla was purchased as a yearling for 80 guineas and was rank outsider in yesterday’s race.
