GREYTOWN

HOME GUARD MEETING OF COMMITTEE. ("Times-Age" Special.) The executive committee of the Greytown unit of the Home Guard met last evening, there being present Messrs H. G. Carter. J. C. Feast. F. Dewhirst, J. Farmer. H. C. Trotman, G. Te Whaiti, and W. G. K. Wiggins. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs S. Shedden and G. S. Maloney. The secretary. Mr F. Dewhirst, reported that arm bands had been received and it was decided to name and number these and distribute them to members immediately. Those willing to assist in forming instruction classes are to parade on Tuesday evening. The first full parade for the New Year will take place on Wednesday. It was reported that the signal section had rcceivcvd two morse keys for instructional purposes.
