TRIALS IN FRANCE
CHARGES NOT DISCLOSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright'. VICHY. October 4. Undisclosed charges have been lodged against General Gamelin, M. Daladier and M. La Chambre. who will shortly be arraigned in the Supreme Court at Riom. The Court, already sitting in camera, has heard 53 witnesses in other, cases in the last few days, including those of M. Bonnet. General Weygand, General Mittelhauser and M. Frossard. A Government spokesman accuses General Gamelin of plunging France into war while the country was not prepared. The Swiss radio says M. Chautemps and also the French consul at Casablanca and 1G other French refugees have arrived at a Portuguese port after a stormy voyage of seven days.
