The Minister for Finance (Mr Nash) announces that the Aeroplanes Funci closed on September 30. Donations received and paid into the Public Account so far total £75,729 2s 6d. A number of lists are still outstanding. Among the latest amounts acknowledged are: —Hastings Borough Council list. £2097 15s 7d: Nelson City list (third and final instalment), £504 12s fid; Matamata Borough Council list, £4409 9s Gd; Marlborough Provincial Patriotic Council (second instalment), £lll 9s; the Mayor’s list, Te Kuiti, £144 6s Gd, and “Ashburton Guardian” list, £l3O 12s 4d.
