OBITUARY
MR GEORGE HUNTER. The death occurred in Wellington yesterday of Mi; George Hunter, of Masterton, at the age of 71 years. The late Mr Hunter had been in indifferent health for some time. Born at Tuamarina, near Blenheim, he came to the North Island in 1878 and had resided at Feilding and Pahiatua prior to taking up his residence in Masterton in 1900. He was a member of the Foresters Lodge. His wife predeceased him and he is survived by three sons, Messrs J. J. and G. S. Hunter (Masterton) and W. Hunter (Te Kuiti) and by two daughters, Mrs J. J. Kissane (Picton) and Sister Benigna.. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving St Patrick’s Church following Mass at 9 a.m., for the Masterton Cemetery. MR W. H. MILLINGTON. The death occurred suddenly last evening at his residence at Longbush of Mr Walter Herbert Millington. Deceased was born in Masterton 49 years ago and was the only son of ‘Mr H. Millington, well known resident of Masterton. The late Mr Millington had been engaged in farming pursuits all his life and.was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends. He was a returned soldier, having served in the Great War. He is survived by his wife and a yonug son. The funeral will leave Knox Church. Masterton, tomorrow at 2.15 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery, following a service at the church.
