GOLD MINING RETURNS
I The Worksop Gold Dredging Co., I Ltd., report a return for the week endled March 21 of 22 ounces from 11,100 cubic yards worked in 144 hours. Blackball Creek wash-up last week realised 30oz, secured in 94 hours. Mossy Creek dredge return last week was 460 z from 6180 yards of material, excavated in 138 hours. The following information has been cabled'to the London office of the Martha Goldmining Co (Waihi), Ltd.: For the period ended March 9, a total of 16.105 tons of ore was crushed for a result of 37660 z of ne gold and 26,831 oz of fine silver. Crushing time was 20 days. The Molyneux Gold Dredging Company reports that for the period ended March 16. the dredge operated 224 hours and recovered lOOoz of gold.
