PRAISE FOR THE MAYOR (To The Editor). Sii', —Allow me a little space in your paper to pay a tribute to our Mayor. Mr 'f. Jordan. The manner in which lie carried out his part in the gatherings during Centennial week put a complete finish to all that were held. What kind of an impression would it create if our leading citizen could not carry out his duties and.speak so well ■as Mr Jordan did during these celebrations? The remarks 1 heard passed during the different celebrations prompted me to write this public letter of appreciation to our Mayor. We are fortunate in’ having such a man as our leading citizen. — 1 am. etc.. “HALF A CENTURY.” Masterton. March 27.
