LATEST CREATIONS. Cornflowers and poppies repeat the red, blue, and white stripes of a smart evening gown shown in London. There is a topknot of the same flowers to wear in the hair. Chanel’s suit of white silk rayon and damask has shiny buttons in doublebreasted style. Latest in London are evening rings of real fresh flowers, wired together on an elastic band that will fit any finger. t An imported four-colour silk frock has little dots and flowers lined up precisely as a punch board, and a braid-bound cardigan jacket that swings open Molyneux-wise. The shops are teeming with grey flannel suits, not the plain grey flannel of last year, but grey striped with white or a colour This will be a big suummer for white lace in the evening. One gown of heavy white cotton lace has a white organdie ruddle at the hem, a wide white organdie sash, and a pink bow pinned to the bodice. A navy jersey hooded yachting coat is cut like'the standard coat with lacings, cords, links, and wood toggle buttons as worn by the navy. Very smart are the beguiling black suede gloves with bright red thumbs. Of blue sibilant tie silk criss-crossed in fine lines of pink is a London frock with a wide ofl'-the-shoulder neckline shirred at the edges. For lounging days by the sea is a long belted crepe tunic tied with a wide sash worn with full slacks the colour of sea foam. Braid accents the tops and pockets ol a gay young sports frock of red and white dotted silk with a full swing skirt, .
