Mrs W. Longstaff, Essex Street, Masterton, has returned from Waipukurau. Mrs Paul Broderick, of Martinborough, has as her guest her sister, Miss Knubley. Mrs L. Cross, Church Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs Edgar Hornblow, Hataitai, Wellington, has returned home from a visit to Masterton. Mrs Barr (Wellington) is the guest of Mrs J. Renner, Renall Street, Masterton. Miss Ann McKay, of Martinborough, was a weekend visitor to Feilding and was staying with her sister, Mrs G. M. Moffitt. The death occurred at Martinboroug'h on Tuesday of Mrs Janet Griffiths, widow of the late Mr John Griffiths, of Petone, at the age of 82 years. The funeral took place today at Karori. Mr and Mrs T. F. Watson, Lansdowne, Masterton, spent a few days last week visiting Mr and Mrs H. A. Mossman,• “Braemar,” Havelock North, returning to Masterton on Monday.
